BACnet – brief introduction to the basics

The Building Automation Control Network (BACnet) protocol is not new to building management systems. In process stations, however, it appears only gradually, especially for its not quite easy implementation. Unlike relatively simple communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet defines a number of services and objects that make it easier for application engineers to work with programming and commissioning technologies.

We will try to introduce you to it gradually:

BACnet – Brief Introduction to Basics Part 2 (BACnet server client survey)

BACnet – Brief Introduction to Basics Part 3 (basic settings in the Merbon IDE)
